Dr. Vandana Nadig Nair
Partner
Vandana, Founder of CoCoon Consulting and Partner with the firm, is closely involved in conceptualizing and designing niche products in the areas of organizational effectiveness, senior management impact and leadership capability building. She mentors design teams within CoCoon as they craft new tools and products, works closely with this team and the clients through the first few rounds of deployment, thereby enabling the institutionalization of the product / productized solution into our repertoire. Some of these include – IMPRINT (a Stakeholder Feedback process for Top Teams), LiA (A Leadership in action coaching process that intertwines coaching, shadowing and stakeholder feedback) and a three-Stage HR School (to equip HR professionals with Functional Skills). She also provides strategic inputs to various client assignments and designs and facilitates impact and effectiveness-enhancing initiatives for our Client Organizations.
Vandana is currently involved in the creation of MFI HR – An Online People Resource Center for MFIs.
With over 17 years of experience, Vandana started as a freelance HR consultant with various companies in the United States after which she returned to India to work with Hindustan Lever Limited, where her focus was Management Development and Training. She then moved on to head HR for a young IT start-up, where her mandate was to put in place all key HR systems and processes. Then the entrepreneurial bug bit and she set up CoCoon Consulting! Vandana is based out of our Bangalore office.
Vandana holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the Central Michigan University, USA.

Jayati Talapatra
Principal Consultant
Jayati is involved in solutions spanning both Organizational Effectiveness as well as Capability Building, with a strong inclination towards Program Design as well as work with organizations in the social sector.
Her work in Impact and Effectiveness includes business diagnostics on the health of HR systems and processes and organization design and structure. She has been instrumental in providing guidelines and support to various clients in their effort at restructuring such systems and processes, including facilitating management team effectiveness forums as an extension of these assignments.
As a part of Program Design projects, she has been extensively involved in the design of integrated learning programs and leverages her human resources background and experience to create relevant and impactful learning tools. She is actively involved in facilitating learning programs as a preamble to transitioning them as internally led programs. Other content creation assignments she has been a part of include designing and evaluating the outcomes of a long term leadership program, which was then institutionalized by the client.
Jayati has contributed significantly to the concept and development of our Product – The HR School and is currently involved in the creation of MFI HR – An Online People Resource Center for MFIs.
At CoCoon, she has worked with companies in FMCG, BFSI, IT, ITES and the Development Sector.
Jayati has nine years of experience with four years within CoCoon.
Prior to CoCoon, she worked with Maruti Udyog Ltd, Hughes Software Systems, Accenture and Novell. Her experience in these organizations spans roles in Organization Development, Recruitment & Performance Management.
Jayati has a Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Pooja Chadha
Senior Consultant
Pooja is involved in both Organizational Effectiveness and Capability Building Solutions with a significant contribution in Organization Design & Structure, Leadership Development and Program Design.
Her involvement in Impact and Effectiveness solutions, includes diagnostics for organization structure effectiveness as well as organization restructure and design. She has worked extensively in auditing key people processes, designing revised processes and systems and creating supporting tools and guiding mechanisms for the client.
As a part of the Leadership Development solutions she has designed assessment and development centres, for varied audiences and levels across industries. Some of these designs have also formed the backbone of the client’s selection or promotion process and have been institutionalized. She has also contributed significantly to Career Frameworks assignments, leveraging her experience to provide direction and definition to various parts of the solution.

At CoCoon, she has worked with companies in FMCG, Manufacturing, BFSI, IT, ITES and the Development Sector.
Pooja has nine years of experience with 2 years within CoCoon.
Prior to CoCoon, she worked in PepsiCo India and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. Her experience in these organizations spans roles in Recruitment, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Management.
Pooja has a Post Graduate degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Pavithra Gaikwad
Senior Consultant
Pavithra is involved in a variety of solutions across both Organizational Effectiveness and Capability Building, with a strong contribution to Program Design.
She has contributed significantly towards several business diagnostics, as a part of our Impact and Effectiveness assignments. These include benchmarking, capability needs assessment, culture audits and identifying potential indicators for high performers. She has also been involved in assignments to define and align competency frameworks and design tools for their socialization and roll out in the organization.
As part of our Program Design solutions she has been extensively involved in content creation for learning interventions and curriculum design across the corporate and non-corporate sectors. These programs have spanned audiences from junior to mid and senior levels. She has used her design expertise in creating plans and creative aids for vision and values cascade workshops and other organization communication platforms. As a part of the Leadership Development solutions, she has been involved in the facilitation of development centres for new and mid level managers.

Pavithra holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce.
